Basilisk - Shelf 3D model

$74.98

This shelf was build in Sidefx Houdini with a procedural asset made by Irinel Papuc @grundform. Smaller elements were modelled in Cinema 4D to provide the basic objects to the asset, which can output any size of that particular shelf design. The major inspiration for this design came obviously from a scaffolding construction system, specifically the Ringlock system. It took several days to develop the nodetree which is seperated in 5 major groups, dealing with the base objects, underlying curve structure, the cross sections of the pipes and the decks which have also 3 different variations (1 included in the package). The package contains 30 models, all different in size. The smallest one is a 1 by 1 piece (144K polygons) without the top part. The largest one is a 6 by 5 monster (2M polygons) with the top. There is a preview of each version attached. The formats of the file are obj, fbx and Cinema 4D. All 30 variations are split into 6 different files, every one of them contains 5 folders, each folder has 12 objects in it (a preview of the object manager is also attached). The Basilisk is a quad polygon object, ready to subdivide. It is not UV unwrapped. The Cinema 4D file does not have any instances, modifiers or generators used, all plain geometry.File Formats: Cinema 4D R25 OBJ FBX Modelled by: Irinel Papuc @grundformIf you like this product, it would be great if you could rate it.
